Mr. Thanvi is a Chartered Accountant by profession and an intermediate-level Rank holder at a pan-India level. He is also a qualified Company Secretary and has an international degree from the Institute of Chartered Secretary, London. He has
completed his Executive Program from IIM Ahmedabad in Innovation, Corporate Strategy, and Competitive Performance and holds a Diploma from HR Blocks, USA,and a Diploma in Central Excise and Customs.
Hemant has served as Nominee Director, Director on the Board of Project Companies and Project Holding Companies, and was part of the Audit, Nomination,and CSR committees. He has worked as CFO / Gr. CFO for large corporate houses having multiple business verticals and was responsible for managing financing,
accounting, and compliance. Over his career, he has worked with financial institutions and large corporate houses and has directly worked with Promoters.
Hemant has more than 25 years of experience in financial controls, accounting,large-scale project financing, equity raising, banking, financial management,structuring, project management, and Corporate Secretarial role. He has hands-on
experience dealing with banks and financial, private equity players, investment bankers, regulatory agencies, and auditors. He has worked on negotiations of commercial contracts, joint ventures, equity share subscription agreements,concession documents, etc. His career over three decades has been around the Infrastructure Assets, including
Education (e-learning), Infrastructure Advisory, EPC companies, PPP projects, and the Power sector, including Renewable, Biomass, Thermal, Gas, Coal, and Transmission assets. He has in-depth knowledge of the transmission, wind & solar industry.
