Background

A leading SaaS company providing B2B e-commerce platform, wanted CFO bridge to manage their entire finance operations for India Entity and also for group level in a few aspects, since two CFO’s had left the company within short intervals.

Observations and Approach

CFO Bridge team worked with the Company promoter and the Investment bankers closely over a period of 4-8 weeks depending on the size and complexities involved. 

Detailed review of all Revenue and Expenditure is carried out directly from the source accounting system in USA as well as India.

Accrual based financials are prepared in Excel and discussed with the Management for their inputs and sanity checks.

An accurate and easily understandable "Bridge" is provided between the source Accounting System (say Quickbooks or Tally) to the Accrual based output in Excel.

Participated in the Due Diligence process led by Big 4 Accounting firms in the US over regular calls to explain the workings.

Benefit to Company in unlocking the potential value on the basis of the True picture as well as providing credibility and confidence to the DD team from the potential buyer

At least in 3 out of 5 companies worked with till date the transaction is almost completed.
